i gave my heart away.
this year i'm supposed to give it to someone special.
i wanted to initially.
but i'm so afraid.
so i think i'll keep my tiny heart to myself this christmas.
i think you made me scared.

i thought christmas was supposed to be full of joy.
but maybe i'm wrong.
somehow during christmas...
there's always this emptiness in my heart.
there's this void in my heart.
it's worse when i end work at 9.30pm during the weekends.
and walk down the busy orchard road alone.
there's no one to hold my hand.
to enjoy the lightings of christmas with.
NO ONE.
i wish you were there.

CHRISTMAS.
just another festive season.
which i LOVE the most.
yet one that i feel lonely the most.
